Attorney Sheridan T. Brown

EXPERIENCE

For over 25 years, Attorney Sheridan T. Brown has been working with individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and municipalities to protect their interests and secure positive outcomes.

Sheridan’s work ranges from simple business matters and municipal approvals to complex administrative proceedings and civil litigation. To each case, Sheridan brings creativity, preparation, tenacity, and a unique range of practical and legal experience gained through a lifetime of work. As an aide in both the United States House (1999-2003) and United States Senate (2003-2009), Sheridan managed a diverse portfolio of work that included environmental, healthcare, and federal grant support projects. In addition to interceding on behalf of entities and individuals to resolve their issues with government agencies, Sheridan has helped secure millions of dollars in funding for community projects.

Sheridan has also designed and led successful New Hampshire advocacy efforts in support of major environmental legislation protecting the state’s wildlife from toxic lead (Pb) fishing tackle and safeguarding the state’s natural resources by strengthening inland oil spill preparedness requirements for pipelines. After only his first six years in legal practice, Brown became a recipient of the Union Leader Newspaper’s “40 Under Forty” award, which, as described by the paper, “recognizes some of the state’s brightest young achievers who have a record of professional and volunteer accomplishments in New Hampshire.” In 2019, Sheridan coordinated an effort on behalf of the Town of Grantham, working in partnership with Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust and The Conservation Fund, to acquire and permanently conserve a 400-acre parcel known as the Sawyer Brook Headwaters.
